Ahh, I remember when waking up bright and incredibly early on a Saturday morning was the highlight of my week. It was only day I would drag myself out of bed willingly to run into the living room and watch my favorite cartoon shows. 

I didn't realize until recently that my own children had never watched shows that I considered to be some of the greatest cartoons ever created. In a day of Spongebob Squarepants, Johnny Test, and Boondocks ,I have to wonder what happened to the good old days of funny, clean cartoons.

I will provide (not so) brief list of some of my favorites growing up in the 80's and please feel free to name a plenty of your own.
